Community Partners

Community partners are organizations which work closely with the NEW Digital Alliance, and share in our mission to attract, develop, and retain diverse IT talent in Northeast Wisconsin to support economic growth. These organizations include professional networks, educational institutions, economic growth organizations, chambers of commerce, labor boards, and state agencies among others.

Amplify Oshkosh Amplify Oshkosh, a program of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, is a grass roots initiative of business, education, local government, the Oshkosh Chamber, and economic and workforce development officials launched in 2013 as an effort intended to strengthen technology in Oshkosh businesses, careers and education.
Bay Area Workforce Development Board Bay Area Workforce Development Board is a private nonprofit corporation that administers federal workforce development programs in an 11-county area in NE Wisconsin under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to coordinate services to job seekers and employers.
CESA6 As a member-driven cooperative educational service agency, schools and school districts turn to CESA 6 for quality resources, designed for today’s learners.CESA 6 makes it possible for schools, regardless of size, to work together to share staff, save money and extend educational opportunities to all children. CESA7 CESA 7 is a Cooperative Educational Service Agency in Green Bay that provides a variety of learning services to 38 school districts in its region.  CESA 7 is passionate about helping districts create authentic student-centered learning experiences that are preparing students for their future. CESA 7 learning community, through collaborative and creative partnerships, provides dynamic leadership for teaching and learning, promotes excellence in professional practice, delivers supportive services for students and those who serve them, and assists school districts in achieving their missions and goals.
Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region: Nonprofit Leadership Initiative The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is creating a framework to develop effective nonprofit leaders in the Fox Valley Region through leadership, collaboration and learning opportunities.
Fox Cities Chamber The Fox Cities Chamber Talent effort works to identify and support innovative and sustainable strategies to develop, attract and retain a skilled, motivated and responsive workforce.
GO EDC Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation (GO EDC) is the primary economic development organization in the area driving collaboration, existing business development, attraction, and business startups. Within Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation exists GO-EDC Foundation, Inc., an initiative focused on eliminating poverty and blight within the most economically distressed areas of the greater Oshkosh community.
Greater Green Bay Chamber The Greater Green Bay Chamber exists to build a greater Green Bay by helping businesses succeed. Their mission is defined by their four pillars: Economic Development, Talent & Education, Government Affairs and Membership Services. The Chamber is the convener, bringing together resources to enhance economic, workforce and community development.
NEW ERA In northeastern Wisconsin’s New North, the publicly-supported institutions of higher education have been working together for nearly two decades in a regional alliance that is nationally distinctive.  NEW ERA emphasizes cooperation and collaboration to unify higher education’s role as a catalyst for economic growth, the preservation of quality jobs and the high quality of life in this great region.
NEW Manufacturing Alliance The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is a manufacturer-led organization with 220 members in 18 counties of northeast WI promoting manufacturing careers.
New North New North is a nonprofit, regional marketing and economic development organization fostering collaboration among private and public sector leaders throughout the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin, known as the New North region.
Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce For more than 100 years, the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce has served as the advocate of business, industry and community to support a thriving Oshkosh and northeastern region of Wisconsin. As a five-star accredited Chamber of Commerce, we are the foremost voice for the business community. As the area’s leading business association, we actively engage our members and community to be the driving force for community progress.
TEALS Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that builds sustainable computer science programs in high schools. They focus on serving students historically excluded from learning CS because of race, gender, or geography. TEALS helps teachers learn to teach CS by pairing them with industry volunteers and proven curricula.
Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is a state agency charged with building and strengthening Wisconsin’s workforce in the 21st century and beyond.  The Department’s primary responsibilities include providing job services, training and employment assistance to people looking for work, at the same time as it works with employers on finding the necessary workers to fill current job openings.

Under the DWD umbrella, a wide variety of employment programs can be found which range from securing jobs for people with disabilities, assisting former welfare recipients as they make a transition into work, promoting employment in the state through Wisconsin Job Centers, linking youth with jobs of tomorrow, protecting and enforcing worker’s rights, processing unemployment claims and ensuring workers compensation claims are paid in accordance with the law.

Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) –  Apprenticeship Program The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Youth Apprenticeship Program (YA) is part of a statewide School to Work initiative. The YA Program combines school-based and work-based learning to instruct students in employability and occupational skills defined by Wisconsin industries.
WIT Wisconsin  The mission of Women in Technology Wisconsin is to attract, grow and retain women and girls in technology-related careers. We provide education and networking events for all ages and experience levels.
