At THAT Conference 2018, five Skyline Technologies associates will be speaking on many exciting topics from AI to VR. Brandon Martinez, Michael Fazio, Greg Levenhagen, Jeremiah Billmann, and John Ptacek are all-conference veterans, having presented at least three times since its inception.

This Sunday, Brandon Martinez (Sr. Software Engineer and five-time speaker) will be holding a workshop on The Modern JavaScript Toolbox. Later that day, Michael Fazio (Sr. Software Engineer and three-time speaker) will be co-hosting a workshop with Diana Deibel (of Grand Studio) on how to craft dialogue for your bot. Attendees will then get the chance to build their own Action on Google for the Google Assistant.

On Monday, Greg Levenhagen (Microsoft Regional Director and six-time speaker) will be presenting twice. In the afternoon he will be leading a demonstration and discussion on Artificial Intelligence Neural Networks. And in the evening he will be leading a discussion and show-n-tell on AR/MR/VR Development.

Tuesday morning, Fazio will be presenting how Kotlin lets you write less (but safer) code. That afternoon, Jeremiah Billmann (Sr. Software Engineer and six-time speaker) will be demonstrating how to do serious AI development using JavaScript while pondering superintelligent will.

Wrapping up the conference on Wednesday, John Ptacek (Principal Consultant and five-time speaker) will be demonstrating the benefits of functional JavaScript programming.

THAT Conference is a self-described “summer camp for geeks” where developers can explore the internet of things and all technologies used for mobile, web and cloud. This year it is being held at the Wisconsin Dells’ Kalahari Resort from August 6-8.
