A business analyst works directly with many different people in the organization to understand the company’s technologies and find out what the problems are and how they can be solved. They also help translate the requirements (in other words, what other employees want) into technical specifications that can be implemented by IT. They help customers understand technical possibilities and limitations of different ways to solve problems.
