WI Governor’s proclamation for Computer Science Education Week

MADISON, Wis. — Governor Scott Walker commended the observance of Computer Science Education Week for the week of December 3-9, 2018. National Computer Science Education Week will inform students, teachers, parents and the general public about the crucial role that computer science plays in transforming our society. This week is in honor of Grace Murray Hopper’s birthday, one of the first females in the field of computer science who engineered new programming languages.
