Lakeland University’s MIS Degree Ranks no. 16 in the Country for Best Online IT Degrees
Lakeland University’s management information systems (MIS) degree has been ranked No. 16 in the nation by Study.com on its 2019 rankings for the best online information technology degrees in the country.
Lakeland’s degree was recognized for its interdisciplinary coursework in computer science and business administration, which makes graduates an ideal candidates for a job in the IT field. The list also applauded Lakeland for helping students find their perfect job with invaluable career services, such as resume reviews, practice interviews by phone, LinkedIn profile help and access to job boards and listings.
Study.com took into account several factors, such as the type of degrees offered, available concentrations, online learning support tools and financial aid help. They also used several pieces of data from the Department of Education, including tuition prices and graduation rates.
Study.com’s online degree rankings are unique in that they emphasize accessibility, affordability and quality of education, which they considered the most important attributes in school rankings.
