Local Women Achieve Award Recognition At 2017 WIT Annual Meeting, Congrats To All!

As a Collaborative Partner of Women in Technology Wisconsin (WIT), NEW IT Alliance extends major congratulations to all of this year’s WIT award recipients!

WIT is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2014 by enthusiastic individuals with a drive to advance women in technology careers. The organization’s involvement in the community reaches more than 16 counties in Northeast Wisconsin, and it has impacted more than 4,500 students.

At the 2017 WIT Annual Meeting, two separate awards were presented to local women: The President’s Award and The Impact Award. Both awards recognize women who helped build IT talent in the region.

The President’s Award is the highest honor that is observed by WIT. It’s typically awarded to those who demonstrate the passion to truly live the mission of WIT in Northeast Wisconsin. This award also grants the recipients a free 2017-2018 WIT Gold membership. Congrats to the following winners:

  • Erin Draheim, Sr. Software Engineer, Skyline Technologies
  • Kim Iversen, Director, NEW IT  Alliance
  • Prachi Khare, Prachi Khare, Student, Fox Valley Technical College
