IT Alliance Tech Community Meeting
March 22nd, 2-4pm FVTC Bordini Center
Michelle Schuler
Manager TechSpark Wisconsin
With over 20 years of strategic business development and entrepreneurial experience, she is a core member of industry leaders creating collaborative solutions to grow technology in Northeast Wisconsin.
As co-founder and president of Women in Technology Wisconsin, she has successfully put strategies into action to create the region’s largest member organization of technology leaders, managers and specialists focused on attracting more women and girls to technology careers. She also serves on the Board for Riverview Gardens. Their mission is to provide job training for people in need.
Microsoft’s TechSpark initiative allows her to focus on bridging the gap between the old and new economy. She looks forward to connecting what she has learned in computer science k-12 education. Sharing some of the career pathways conversations she is leading in the region and in the state. Then thoughts on digital transformation and how this fits into the equation of developing talent. All with the mission to empower all individuals and organizations to do more.
Mackenzie Grondahl
Regional Manager TEALS Northern Wisconsin
Mackenzie Grondahl, Microsoft TEALS Regional Manager for Northern Wisconsin, started her love affair with computers when her dad brought home punch cards for her to play with as a toddler. Today, as a grown up, she’s immersed in bringing that love of technology and science to the next generations.
When she’s not working at TEALS, you can find Mackenzie curating curriculum for the WIT4Girls clubs through Women in Technology Wisconsin, training Girl Scout troop leaders in STEM/tech badge methods for the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Council, leading the K-1st grade Daisies of her own multi-level Girl Scout troop, or writing Theatre for Young Audiences scripts with her daughter, Ellie. She’s grateful for the NEW IT community and its dedication to serve area schools.
